Welcome to the Anti-Racist Green Party Organizing listserve. The purpose of this list is to serve Greens committed to confronting the racism (starting within our Party) which serves as a barrier to building an effective multi-cultural political party. This list exists to provide a place where such Greens can strategize, plan and reflect on how to do that most effectively. This is a place where we can discuss how we can work constructively within the Green Party at the local, state and national levels to strengthen Green Party members' consciousness of racism, and strengthen our collective ability to work effectively to build a powerful anti-racist political Party and movement. This is a private, archived list serve. We urge you to invite other Greens willing to contribute to these goals to subscribe to this list. We ask that you respect the internal nature of this list and the privacy of those who post here by not forwarding or otherwise republishing materials you find here without the written consent of the original author(s). By default, replies are sent to the poster being replied to, to address the entire list, please paste the list posting address in the to: line, instead. The usual standards of email list etiquette apply here. Respectful discussions about strategies for effectively building a multi cultural political party are encouraged. Discussions on the question of whether racism is an issue for our Party to deal with are inappropriate here. List flooding, off-topic posts or other posts or actions generally found by subscribers to be antithetical to our purpose are grounds for having one's posts moderated or one's subscription terminated, in a manner which best serves the needs of the community which forms around this list. To post a message to all the list members, send email to argpo@greens.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to argpo
Subscribe to argpo by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
