Fred Bergen might be a certified loon, but
uninformed readers might still get the wrong
impression from the article.
Local Greens should consider the article an
opportunity to get a positive mention of the GP
into the newspaper and clarify the party's
position on immigration.
If one or two Greens write to the newspaper with
a correction and a summary of the GP's real
position, it might get published. Someone should
contact the reporter who wrote the article and
say "Here's the real Green position on
immigration, etc..... In the future, if you have
any questions about where Greens stand on any
particular issue or about our candidates, give me
a call."
We should always look for ways to turn minor
irritations into major advantages for the GP.
