program they are conducting.

Subject: JEHT Foundation Candidate Study
Hi,
My name is Erinn Larkin and I'm aiding Professor Ray La Raja at
UMass-Amherst
on a project that is studying campaigns and elections. The study is
being done
for academic purposes only. We are asking politically involved
individuals to
help us identify the names of some people who they feel would make good
candidates for public office but who have not run. The individuals don't
have
to necessarily have stated that they want to run, but people who you
personally feel would make good candidates.
Also, we assume that the parties have lists of people they would like to see
run for office.
My question is if you would be willing to talk to me about the project and
possibly help out by providing some names. If you have any other questions,
please e-mail me back, or call. Thanks,
Erinn Larkin
