Hi: My apologies. I have been informed that the Jesse Macbeth interview
is probably a hoax. As a matter of principle and of politics, I hate to
have passed on questionable material. Maybe someone has tracked this down
but until its authenticity can be confirmed, I shamefacedly ask that you
disregard it and not distribute it further. Peace. Richard.

Richard -- the Jesse Macbeth interview is probably a hoax. Many
right-wing and/or military web sites label it a fraud -- and I don't
necessarily trust them -- but so do a few neutral sites (eg:
http://legalsoapbox.blogspot.com/search/label/space%20pen or
http://www.abc.net.au/mediawatch/transcripts/s1714780.htm. ). I didn't
come across any web sites that defended the video as being true. The
video first started being posted about a year ago and has been removed
from many web sites that used to link to it because of its questionable
authenticity.

Hi: This is being distributed by David McReynolds. Peace. Richard

> Subject: An Urgent MUST-SEE VIDEO!!!: Ex-Army Ranger and current Iraq Veteran Against the War reveals genocidal acts against innocent civilians in Iraq

> From Iraq Vets Against the War ivaw at ivaw.org

> The following video of an interview with IVAW member Jesse McBeth is a blockbuster and a must see that should bring down the Bush Administration's illegal war.
> McBeth, an ex-Army Ranger special forces soldier is obviously suffering from PTSD (the special subset called Perpetration-Induced Traumatic Strss Disorder) with his speech impediment, nightmares, obvious depression, guilt, etc.

> McBeth's eyewitness testimony reveals compelling and horrifying evidence about the experiences he had during his military "service" in Iraq. He admits to personally killing in excess of 200 innocent unarmed Iraqis, in their homes, in cold blood and at point blank range during search missions in Baghdad - on orders from his military officers.

> This is International War Crimes testimony and McBeth courageously acknowledges the most intimate details of his part in the war crimes.

> Access it and spread the word before it gets pulled by the Bush administration censors. The site is:
