Subject: [usgp-dx] GPUS Speakers Bureau - please forward to state lists
Dear Green Party candidates and elected officials,
Would you like to spread the word about the great things you're doing in
office? Would you like to keep the momentum going after the campaign season
has ended? Then consider joining the GPUS Speakers Bureau. The GPUS Media
Committee is seeking knowledgeable speakers to represent the GPUS on
national TV, radio, and Internet programs and at national events, to
increase the national visibility of the Green Party. If you are a current or
former elected official, or a current or former candidate; have an area of
expertise on Green Party issues and policy; and are willing to promote the
Green Party, the four pillars, the Ten Key Values, and the GPUS platform and
resolutions, please contact us. Media Committee members will initiate
contact with national TV, radio, and Internet producers on your behalf in a
concentrated effort to get a Green Party speaker on a show or event.
To participate, you will need the following:
Complete contact info including address, email and phone, and any offices
held or campaigned for
A personal bio 500 words or less
A head shot in JPEG, TIFF or other commonly used format
A writing sample and/or taped radio/TV interview in your area of expertise
Media Committee members will help you research and prepare for the shows and
events and give constructive feedback. Following are a list of national TV,
radio, and Internet shows. Let us know if you would like to add a show to
the list, or if you have any connections to producers on any of the shows.
Events will be added as they are scheduled.
Contact the following media committee members to get started:
