Members of the Indianapolis blind community are coming together to show
their concern for global warming. This event proves that being able to see
a problem, is not a function of one's eyesight, but of one's "vision".
While the photo event is associated with a local blind organization, anyone
having a physical challenge or concerned about people with physical
challenges are welcome to join.

Friends,

As of two minutes ago, Step It Up 2007 is 1006 actions strong. We blew by
the Big 1000 mark last night, and haven't looked back since.

The movement is growing. These newest actions coincide with hundreds of
activists gathering

by 50 goal. Al Gore hand delivered 500,000 petitions

Organizers - there's some important info regarding photographing your
actions in this email - please read below.

To everyone, these next three and a half weeks are going to culminate in a
very important day in the history of US climate activism. Thank you for all
the good work so far, and for the good work to come leading up to the 14th
and beyond. We're building up an incredibly strong and vocal movement as we
count down the days to Step It Up.

Looking forward to it,

The Step It Up Organizing Team: Bill, Jamie, Jeremy, Jon, May, Phil, and
Will

Organizer Info

Photo Uploads
One of the most important parts of this campaign is its documentation.
After you take your photo of the action calling on Congress to Step It Up,
we want those photos ASAP. We'll be using them the night of the 14th for a
cascade of images in DC and sending you the tools to get your pictures in
Congressional hands. So after you snap that picture, get yourself (or a
trustworthy representative) to a computer and upload your most power-packed
shot to the Step It Up website. More details to come.

Banner Planner
We're all about the homemade banner for the majority of Step It Up actions;
it adds to the diversity and local representation of our ask to Congress.
That said, some of you will need a pro on the job for size, time, or
location issues. Check out Greenbanners.com's special offers for Step It Up
